15th Annual NuLu Fest
Saturday, September 27th, 2025

We shut down the street for a good 'ole block party, featuring local food, craft beers, bourbons, local and regional vendors, and live music.

600 - 900 blocks of East Market Street
11:00am - 8:00pm

For the 15th year NuLu is hosting it's well-known street festival celebrating the continued growth and revitalization of Louisville’s East Market District. Come enjoy live music, regional micro-brewed beers, Bourbon Row, and numerous food and retail booths by local vendors.

There will be activities for all ages. The event is free, family-friendly and open to the public.

In addition to the main stage, NuLu will come alive with performances and music throughout the event, including:

Xalt Performers Smiles Parade: Stilts, poi, fan veils, inflatables, and hoops (4:00-4:30pm)
Xalt Circus Show: 12 circus acts with photo ops and circus stations (5:00-7:00pm)

NuLu Fest move-in special! Apply between Friday, September 26th through Monday, September 29th with a move-in date before October 31st and receive 1-month base rent for free on the first full month of the lease. The least must be 12 months or longer.

FAQs

Are animals allowed in the festival?

For the safety and comfort of all guests, we strongly recommend leaving pets at home. Large crowds, loud noises, and high temperatures can create a stressful and potentially unsafe environment for animals.

Only service animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), are permitted. All service animals must remain on a leash and under the handler’s control at all times.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us create a safe and enjoyable festival experience for everyone.

Does it cost anything to attend?

No, we are a FREE festival for you to enjoy all the activities and music. Vendors are set up and many will be selling their locally or regionally handcrafted items. Food and drinks will be available at a number of locations. Beer, wine, and cocktails will be available for cash or credit card. ATMs will be setup throughout the festival.

Where can I park?

There are several side streets in the area that have free parking on the weekend as well as surface lots. Please be sure to check the meter before leaving your car to be sure payment is not needed. Some surface lots will require payment.

What type of food will there be?

There is a variety of food to choose from. We try to offer something for everyone.

Is this a kid friendly festival?

We offer a kids-friendly area from 11:00am - 6:00pm with several activities for all to enjoy.

Does NuLu Fest take credit cards?

Most vendors accept credit cards, however we will have several ATM’s in the area if you prefer to pay with cash.  This saves the vendors a little money.  Individual vendors can choose to take cash or cards.
